Free Chinese Tuition From God!

Most unexpectedly and surprisingly, here in Auckland, NZ, it seems like God wants me to improve on my Mandarin 😂

Since leading me to the church of Our Lady of Perpetual Help (See previous blog post), I am now having a daily free tuition class through the Auckland Chinese Catholic Community’s WeChat group (with the help of Google Translate of course)! 🤣

In all honesty, improving my chinese has been on the back of my mind for quite some time now! I have made attempts to stay consistent such as downloading apps like Duolingo but with the passage of time, and the tedious repetitive and progressive nature of these apps, I have faltered in consistent practice.

I’m glad God introduced me this alternative and I have a gd feeling that this will work! Because without my own initiative to translate and lookup words I don’t know, I wouldn’t know what is going on in these chats! 😭

Oh btw, don’t trust Google’s translations 100% – it can be quite weird (e.g “A Leper” translated as “A madman” 😂)
