Time is something I feel I am really short of at the moment.
To put it in context, I think I have literally hundreds of pages worth of documents and research articles to read every week! It’s like reading a few books worth and frankly I am very overwhelmed and not able to finish reading them all as well as revise for exams and complete assignments.
So I’ve been contemplating on how best to manage the limited time that I have.
The best solution I’ve come up with is to develop better prioritization skills.
Then again, the next question would be:
“How do I prioritize?”
A few more days worth of contemplation and prayer and the answer came in another question:
“What is most important to you at this moment in time?”
or in short …
“What is most important?”
SInce then, this question has been a question I have repeatedly asked myself throughout my day.
It has guided most of my indecisions and hopefully, helped me make wiser choices to how I spend my time.
Hopefully it will help you too.
Now, the next problem I am trying to solve is how to be more forward-thinking. Kinda like how to master the art of planning ahead more than a day so that what I do with my time today will be the most efficient use of it and actually save me time in the future.
If you’ve solved this issue or have any of your own valuable time management strategies and tips, do share! I’d love to hear and learn from you.
Let’s keep learning and growing each day.
