The Bright Side of Lockdown

Yesterday while out on my evening walk, I was reflecting and realised there were much more benefits of a lockdown other than for β€œflattening the curve”.

πŸ‘¨β€πŸ‘©β€πŸ‘§β€πŸ‘¦ More time with family

πŸ€— Closer connections with the people you care most about (calling/texting)

🍲No takeaways/deliveries = more home cooking = more wholesome and nutritious diet!

⛽️ Less driving = $ saved from fuel and less carbon emissions πŸ’¨ = saving the planet! 🌎

β˜€οΈ Spending all day indoor encourages people to go out in nature more for a walk

πŸƒπŸ»β€β™‚οΈ More time for exercise or to start if you’ve always been thinking of it

πŸ‘¨πŸ»β€πŸ’» More time for students like me to catch up on assignments!πŸ˜†

πŸ“Έ More time to pursue passions and hobbies

⏳Basically more TIME to do the things that matter most for our health and well-being

So it’s not so bad after all eh.
