Yesterday while out on my evening walk, I was reflecting and realised there were much more benefits of a lockdown other than for “flattening the curve”.
𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐒𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐋𝐨𝐜𝐤𝐝𝐨𝐰𝐧:
👨👩👧👦 More time with family
🤗 Closer connections with the people you care most about (calling/texting)
🍲No takeaways/deliveries = more home cooking = more wholesome and nutritious diet!
⛽️ Less driving = $ saved from fuel and less carbon emissions 💨 = saving the planet! 🌎
☀️ Spending all day indoor encourages people to go out in nature more for a walk
🏃🏻♂️ More time for exercise or to start if you’ve always been thinking of it
👨🏻💻 More time for students like me to catch up on assignments!😆
📸 More time to pursue passions and hobbies
⏳Basically more TIME to do the things that matter most for our health and well-being
So it’s not so bad after all eh.
