We only have one body to live in.
It takes care of us, but do we take care of it?
Every moment of every day, our bodies talk to us and give us feedback on how its doing.
Sometimes it is direct and immediate, like when your hurt yourself by accident.
Other times, it is subtle, indirect and delayed.
Grogginess and low energy from lack of a good night’s sleep…
Constipation from dietary or emotional reasons…
Irregular periods and pre-menstrual cramps from a diet high in refined and processed foods…
Allergies and sensitivities manifesting in all sorts of ways from skin outbreaks to joint pain or brain fog…
Emotional stress/burden can also manifest in diseases like cancer.
To make matters worse, modern society today espouses certain beliefs that can sometimes be dangerous:
“Mind over body!”
“Never give Up!”
“It’s all in your head!”
Still, our bodies are amazing and will try its best to ‘tank’ the damage for as long as possible.
But any form of chronic stress builds up.
And eventually, there will come a breaking point – the start of disease.
Part of the Healing Power of Nature (see previous post) is recognising that 𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝘽𝙤𝙙𝙮 𝙆𝙣𝙤𝙬𝙨 𝘽𝙚𝙨𝙩.
Your body has an innate wisdom that knows whats best for you and never lies.
So folks, please listen to your body ok?
I hope this has been of benefit to you.
